The size thing doesn't concern me at all, since Karlsson was 165 when he was drafted. Never saw anything about the concussions though, that's a bit worrisome. Although I really don't think there's much correlation between being smaller and getting more concussions, a lot of big players get hurt too.
Still though, not great to have two already.

I know there is no correlation between size and concussions since Franzen wasn't a small guy (neither was Lindros or Pronger) but i assume it was from being bodychecked (i don't know how it happened but just know he got two in one year). Being smaller can play a bit of a role since it is easier for a big guy to end up hitting a smaller players head in a bodycheck even if it is by accident.
His size mainly concerns me for the fact he is getting concussions playing in a league not known for punishing physical play...what happens when he is dealing with huge physical players from the NHL?
I'm saying nobody should draft the kid because he is small but a concussion history at that age should be concerning teams in a position to draft him. It's a bit more of a risk for a top 5 or top 10 team to take given other options available in that draft. Almost every mock draft video i have seen and what i read, every time they talk about Boqvist, nobody seems to bring up that concussion issue for some reason. Maybe most don't know about it or think it doesn't matter but i would imagine the GMs sure as hell know about it and it has to be a concern when you are looking to add a core piece to your team for a decade+.
If it weren't for that i wouldn't mind the Wings drafting him but after seeing what happened to Franzen, it makes me kind of hope they draft someone else even if he is still on the board. Love his skill but i don't think the Wings can afford to risk it given the state of their defense. Hughes/Bouchard/Dobson seem like the better pick for them at this point.
